Radioguy 2 Posted October 9, 2008 Share #8 Posted October 9, 2008 Uhhhhh..... (Photo Courtest of TTMG) I don't know if they did it for this ad for Discovery Channel, but they ad wrap interiors too. Jesus Christ... I think it's a good idea, but I think I'd freak out stepping onto, and sitting down in, an interior wrapped car. The walls and doors are an obvious surface to wrap, but seats? I get them being a surface that is seen, but I can also see people not wanting to sit on such seats. Debris or bodily fluids can not be as easily seen on them, and image details could, and probably would be mistaken as such. Plus they would be more likely to be peeled by kids and teens than the walls and doors, and like peeled disabled seating decals, they will attract detritus which will certainly turn passengers away from sitting on them. I think seat wrapping needs reconsideration to say the least. Perhaps seats could be constructed of a clear plastic through which LCD ads, or replaceable paper banners could be seen?
