When transit is getting ready to have a class they will send out notifications to your depots management to review your file to see if you meet the criteria for a promotion. They check attendance, disciplinary action, awol, etc. If you’re good management approves it and sends it back. Then you wait for another notice to report for medical. Feb 8th isn’t a definite.

Congratulations to all that have passed this difficult exam. As far as I’m concerned I’m not in a rush to get called or even take on this next task. I leave everything in the all mighty’s hands. If I get called then I get called and if I don’t get called it’s not the end of the world cause I still have a JOB that I love very much. So stay positive and remember you still have a great and easy going JOB if you don’t get the call to get promoted. ✌🏾 and ❤️ to all.

As per the guidelines of the website, if you can kindly refrain from "bumping topics," it would be appreciated.

Thank you.

“Bumping” definitely wasn’t  my intention. I don’t care if this thread is “hot” or my post count. Not sure why I would care about it.

I know two operators out of my depot has to go to Livingston for processing. So it looks like they will be in the next class.

April 19th is the first class. 3 operators from my depot are in it. So we're at least up to #28 on the list.

When selected what is the process if anyone can chime in? I know your sent for a random. But is that done first and then called into the boss office to be offically notified?  I have no bad time.

EDIT: Jeez, can't type for nothing on this phone...  You see the boss first. On your G46, it will tell you why you're going to the MAC. So a true random would have that box checked on it.

Is,

You see the G/S first, then get scheduled for your drug test a/p @SPR688

A random is generally truly random. Unless you show up to work stumbling and slurring or something like that they are sending you. Yeah first you’ll prob here your file was pulled. That means transit is about to have a class, they are up to you on the list, and they are checking who’s good. Next you’ll see the Gs. He will give you paper work and tell you when you’re to go to the Mac. Then we wait for class to start which is usually a week or so after medical.
