You don’t get that bright white flash when the train barrels into the station. The dark shadows also become more detailed as are the bright highlights. You can see it when trains on the adjacent tracks are rumbling by or are being bypassed (the train when entering 125 Street and the train on the way to 59 Street–Columbus Circle).
