So far it looks like the transfer update is present on all xd40s, LFS, XN60s, Separate note: the Vianova updates still got a lot of work to do. Was on xn60 1029 from Harlem to the hub and let's just say it was interesting. The (2)(3)(4)(A)(C) were nonexistent, you could catch the M3 at Morningside, St Nicholas and Fred Douglas, and you can get the Bx17 at Westchester avenue and third Avenue. It also seems like a handful of routes were missing too like the M35, and a huge list of buses at The hub. Some of it is because the list is limited to 3 bus routes, other times it simply wasn't worth it.

Vianova's transfer announcements seem so disorganized and that's why I prefer no announcements on that version.

I was on the B46 sbs and heard the transfer announcements.

It was pretty organized in Staten Island. Victory Blvd and Bay Street it announced all the routes, which were like 6, so it's not limited to only 3. I noticed that it doesn't repeat transfers too. For example the S78, leaving the ferry it makes the announcements to transfer to all routes at Bay Street, and then it doesn't list them again dowj the linento reduce the amount of repeditiveness I'm guessing. I'll see if I can get a video tomorrow on the S78.

Version 3 has a black (not white) exterior in a similar shape with a slightly different announcement style (ex. Main St and Horace Harding. Transfer to Q88.)

Most of the Eastchester local buses have them except for I believe the 41xx’s. I’m not sure what version they have. They don’t look like any of the versions that were posted. None of the signs display stops and no announcements as of yet. It’s one whole board that isn’t split down the middle but it can display two screens. Hard to explain lol. Black curved border. One in the front and one in the rear.

That's Version 2. All of the NGs that have Version 2 look like that.

Oh, That means that 4245, 4247, 4642 and 4646 have version 3, not version 2. My bad, I thought version 3 was only single screens.

If you can list the NGs you remember having the screens that would be great. Recently it seems only a few buses at ECH had screens but they might have put them up on NGs recently.

One note I'd like to add here in the forums that wasn't shown in my video of the Luminator screens: When they were first testing it on C40LF 572, it initially annunciated all of the transfers regardless of how many bus and subway routes intersected (if you were in Flatbush Junction or Downtown Brooklyn, lord have mercy on ya soul).

Not something I saw as an ideal fix but I'm glad they at least that they cut it off with "...and others" after listing 3 route transfers.

What I hope in the future with the other screens made by Vianova and Clever Devices is have them list the multitude of transfers with "Multiple transfers are available" (a la NICE Bus) or something similar because those announcements for the transfers by Jamaica Center are just...

Actually the majority of the buses delivered with version 2 don't have transfers.

Funny, because I rode a couple of buses today with Version 2 screens and all of them had the transfers. This was also posted earlier in this thread:

Which buses were those? The majority of the 2018 XD40s and XDE40s do not have transfers except for the ones I listed, unless they somehow updated every single bus overnight.

Yesterday it was 7697 and 7574, today it was 5555, 1014, and 1030 among others. Several other people have also said they've seen the transfers up as well.

That's interesting...

For whatever reason, the Brooklyn 7500s don't have transfers, and for a good while it was only 7591 at Quill with working transfers.

It may also depend on where you go to. There were several spots in the Bronx that did not list all transfers and a few that had no transfers announced when there actually are transfers available (River Avenue on the westbound bx6 as well as 10th Av on the eastbound Bx12 SBS does not list anything).

Also adding on, 7558 from ENY does have transfer announcements but does not announce the airtrain at Lefferts blvd and the transfers when at new lots Av (3) .
