Lawrence St Posted September 11, 2018 Share #1 Posted September 11, 2018 Hi, So I made an account and paid $68.00 for the NYCT Bus Operator exam. What's next? Do I wait until they call me for an exam date?
+Young+ Posted September 11, 2018 Share #2 Posted September 11, 2018 First, in an effort to reduce the amount of threads/topics, please post here from now on, which I temporarily moved into the 'main' employment section. However, from taking Exams 2613, 4600 & 7612, here is your answer: They will not call you. Instead, you will receive an envelope in the mail with a 'colored' admission notice. It could be white, yellow, blue, green, pink, orange, etc. The purpose of these different colors is to distinguish those taking the exam in the AM session compared to the PM session. During the exam you will be given a blank "Candidate's Record of Answers" for you to record your answers. This can be used to obtain your initial score once the proposed answer key gets published on this page. This is the only way that you'll be able to obtain your initial score. This "Candidate's Record of Answers" will not only be the only thing you'll allowed to leave with, but it'll also have information for the protest session if you wish to attend, which is optional. Finally, after a couple of years, the list will get established, in which you'll receive your list number in the mail. This is the order in which they hire candidates off the list. Any questions? Please don't hesitate to ask in the other thread. Thanks!!
