how meny artics are needed to make service on the bx 15 in wf?

The Bx15 is a weird route. It uses a mix of 40 footers and 60 footers at any given time.

WF does not have enough Artics to fully cover the Bx15 the Bx19 has priority for 60FT in WF.

For future reference this is a topic that couple have been posted in Fleet & Depots. No need to create a whole thread for just one bus route.

However, it depends on the day, time, and runs. Regular weekday rush consists of what's mentioned below.

Actually they do for the most part. There are currently 30 buses on the Bx15, and 29 of them are articulated. Some runs are interlined.

Outside of peak periods there is more of a mix. During rush it's 99% articulated.

No, and this is because they have decided to change plans and make the Bx6 local a new priority. They line will likely be about 90% artic similar to the B35 which is about 96% artic but still classified as an artic route.

They can also get around some of the capacity restraints by interlining the 6 local and the 36. This is actually what could end up happening.

Have there been any updates on farebeating on the Bx6 since SBS came online? That line is infamous for people just walking on and not paying.
