Next Train Announcer Posted January 8, 2019 Share #1 Posted January 8, 2019 I thought members of the group might enjoy this video that was just posted by Trains Magazine. It takes a look behind the scenes, including the 207th Street Overhaul Shop. It's done by Kevin Phalon and is a five and a half minute piece on the December Nostalgia Trains the MTA runs. I did the narration based on a script Kevin wrote. http://trn.trains.com/photos-videos/videos/2019/01/trains-presents-new-york-citys-nostalgia-train?fbclid=IwAR2gFxOMkrJ5gsNonp9aEOrBfNA4WET-cXIkyyCGiSFAv6eV8uddQ5cGQy4
trainfan22 Posted January 8, 2019 Share #2 Posted January 8, 2019 Loved it. Awesome video! That photo of the R9 in the shop next the Redbirds and 32s is nice as well, railfans alive in the 60s and 70s were so lucky to be able to ride those cars anytime they wanted. MHV9218 Posted January 9, 2019 Share #3 Posted January 9, 2019 Great work on this, and an excellent segment! Love seeing Steve and Derrick get a moment to talk as well, those guys are the unsung heroes each trip.
