LGA Link N Train Posted January 13, 2019 Share #1 Posted January 13, 2019 Driving in NYC is essential. However, I actually Question why it’s allowed in certain corridors (with the exception of Buses, Trucks, and anything that isn’t a privately owned car). I can already think of a few corridors right off the bat: Any narrow section in lower Manhattan (specially Chinatown and Little Italy) where there is heavy pedestrian activity. Austin Street between 69th Av and Ascan Avenue. The amount of congestion and people double parking in the middle of the road is annoying to deal with. Isn’t double parking illegal by the way? Anyways, Those are ones that come off the top of my head.
