Eastbound LIRR service from Penn Station has resumed with delays up to 40 minutes. There is no westbound service between Jamaica and Penn Station, due to signal problems.

 

Eastbound Port Washington Branch service has resumed between Penn and Port Washington with residual delays of up to 30 minutes.

 

NYC Transit is honoring LIRR fares at Jamaica, Woodside, Forest Hills and Kew Gardens..

Full service, in and out of Penn Station, has been restored in both directions with residual delays of 20 minutes.

Man that must have been a real mess. Took 3 hours from problem to "normal" and still has notable delays.

I was at Jamaica around 12:30 but fortunately the 12:58 to Long Beach arrived at around 1:07. The 12:36 to Ronkonkoma came at around 1:00 though.
