+Young+ Posted June 16, 2019 Share #5 Posted June 16, 2019 Me either. Have you considered using TinyPic of Flickr? I personally use TinyPic, however the preference is yours...

S78 via Hylan Posted June 16, 2019 Share #7 Posted June 16, 2019 Was that actually in service or just a codebreak?
Blasez Posted June 16, 2019 Share #8 Posted June 16, 2019 Looks like a codebreak to me (I know for a fact that is not along the Q12 route)
Uncle Floyd Fan Posted June 17, 2019 Share #9 Posted June 17, 2019 If the SBS bus doesn't have a farebox on it, then it is probably a destination sign code break (but what do I know....I'm only a commuter). The most common code break I used to see was on the LIE eastbound around 8am (almost daily) where one of the deadheading bus operators would put up a BX sign (I don't recall the route #) which was 'headed' to Yankee Stadium. I presume the driver was a Yankee Fan.

I actually heard from an op that that reading is also a Luminator sign glitch.
R188 7857 Posted June 17, 2019 Share #11 Posted June 17, 2019 (edited) Definitely seems like a codebreak. Edited June 17, 2019 by R188 7857

Cait Sith Posted June 21, 2019 Share #15 Posted June 21, 2019 (edited) As for whether this bus was on the Q12 on the night he posted it....I have doubts. This bus had Q44 runs that entire day, and it's last trip ended at Jamaica and deadheaded back to Casey Stengel.....
