I could hope that Throgs Neck could be as vocal as Co-Op City and have both the Bx40 and Bx42 stops where they belong. Whoever in that re-design team is working in the Bronx should get fired.

Throggs Neck came out to Pelham Bay the other night and gave it to them. Their Councilman also showed up and got an earful. This is far from over. I am calling my Senator tomorrow morning and requesting a sit-down with the (MTA) to discuss the redesign and express bus service across the district, which has been absolutely abysmal. Tonight was by far the worst. So many posts about people waiting 25-40 minutes with no express bus. Tons of express buses with no AC. Ridiculous...

The crowd was so big that Andy Byford personally spoke before the crowd. I will see if I can post footage tomorrow. Someone in my group (some BxM7 riders) posted it.

I was up there as well got a chance to speak to Andy King and a few other officials before they sat with the MTA people came out!!! Byford stayed around for quite sometime after the event even ABC 7 came up.

I think the turnout was EXCELLENT. People are very angry and they should be. We need reliable transportation in our City. We can’t continue like this.
