MTR Admiralty Posted October 21, 2008 #1 Posted October 21, 2008 The RPA (Regional Planning Association) launched a report on transportation planning in the Met area. some key points: Subway/LIRR/MetNorth -build da SAS (Phase 3 nd 4 to be FOUR TRACKED) -a lower east side extension of SAS to east broadway -extension of SAS from lower manhattan to bk, running along da atlantic ave line (lirr row converted to transit use), line ends in se queens (laurelton) -a jewel ave subway stemming from the qbl. -a queens bypass route for qbl relief -after esa is completed, run met north trains to penn, open intermediate stations -hav lower intra city fares to attract patronage -install express track from 121st to crescent -build da SAS in da bronx; several plans: third ave trunk line to fordham plaza. a branch route stemming off fordham running along fordham w to inwood manhattan. a route along boston post rd to dyre ave line, linking to co op city, a line along da amtrak corrdior to co op city. -a line along 125th connecting to da SAS -lirr abandon flatbush line. convert to transit use bus/brt: -nostrand ave brt to b implemented -hylan blvd brt to b implemented -2 new brt lines in newark -FARE FREE RIDES ON M34, M42 AND M50.

I bet the city would only do half of this.... And i'm getting confuses with your slang, this is not AIM. :cool:
