Kamen Rider Posted December 18, 2019 Share #2 Posted December 18, 2019 ...Why? this doesn't make any sense. What would run the Dyre line? Where would the 5 be based?

Good questions and not well thought out. I suspect he's thinking that perhaps the is split between 241 and Dyre OR we see a revival of the original train that would be a shuttle between Dyre and E180. Also I I suspect he thinks it would be better for the to serve the Jerome line because the can be straight-railed at 125 to Pelham.
Kamen Rider Posted December 18, 2019 Share #5 Posted December 18, 2019 this is all aside from the fact Burnside is TERRIBLE for this. In the PM, the only way for a 6 to terminate at Burnside and return to Manhattan would be A: run light up to Kingsbridge Road and relay there or B: have to squeeze through the center express track while the 4 is trying to use it. Parkchester has a full interlocking complex on one side, Burnside doesn't. You can cross between Express and local... only after you make the station stop.
NY1635 Posted December 24, 2019 Share #6 Posted December 24, 2019 Isn't 125th at Lex by that abandoned Pathmark? I get that the MNRR is nearby, but I've always seen people get in and out of the railroad station at 125th and Park Ave in a hurry.
