Sorry for double post, but here's a situation:

Around 40% of each depots MCIs are taken out of service, due to cracks and parts falling off of the buses. This is effecting each MTAB Depot not named Baisley Park. Re-assign, reroute, cut, and add service as much as you please.

Routes effected, all QMs, all BMs and all BxMs.

Weekend service is limited (every 2 hrs)

Non-rush service is limited (every 2 hrs)

:bus_bullet_bxm18: is cut, use :bus_bullet_bxm1::bus_bullet_bxm2:(1)(2)(3)(A)(C)(E)(4)(5)(6).

All Staten Island routes run every 20 min except S79.

SI Novas and 3Gs run on express routes.

All service on the Q52 is cut, use the Q53 and Q22. Q52-assigned buses run on express routes in Queens.

Prevosts are lent to all MTAB depots

(NJT) lends out buses

Bee Line lends out buses

NICE lends out buses

Extra service is implemented on most subway lines.

Some Orion and New Flyer buses run as replacements for the MCIs.

This SHOULD be enough.

For the most part, there's no need to cut weekend service like that since there's less service provided. If anything, under such a scenario, all they'll do is place local buses on those routes.

Your scenario means you have to make both local, ltd, SBS, Premier Express bus FREE.

NICE Bus can't lend hands because NICE Bus doesn't have any express bus routes or their (MTA) farebox are only problem for local trips and they don't have enough buses to help with Queens buses.

Bee-Line bus can't lend hands because Bee-Line bus with (MTA) Farebox are only set to $2.75 or $7.50 BxM4C fares.

(NJT) Buses cannot help either since they do not equipped with (MTA) Farebox, exception of Academy Bus that uses for SIM23/SIM24 buses are only one can help, plus (NJT) doesn't have permission to operate (MTA) routes.

I'll give it a go and create a scenario...

Washington Bridge is structurally unstable, and the bridge is closed for stabilization and inspection for possibly more than a week, 207 St Bridge is closed Manhattan Bound, and Broadway Bridge is closed Bronx Bound. While at the same time (1) Cannot run past 215 St due to the Bridge, and thus Shuttle Buses have to go from 215 St to 242 St. Go ahead and have fun!

P.S. 155 St Bridge is closed for Bridge repainting.

Verrazano Narrows Bridge is destroyed in a Terrorist Attack, all SI Buses to/from Brooklyn no longer have access to Brooklyn via the bridge.

Assuming this is a weekday:

Local Buses:

 -S53 runs between Lily Pond Av and Port Richmond Terminal (no Brooklyn service)

-S79 SBS runs between Fingerboard Rd and Staten Island Mall (no Brooklyn service)

-S93 LTD runs between Fingerboard Rd and College of SI (no Brooklyn service)

-S89 LTD runs full time (full route) for connectivity to HBLR and PATH {if possible, HBLR cross-honors metro cards or is free along with PATH}

In Manhattan, passengers will be picked up/dropped off at any existing express bus stops for travel between Lower Manhattan and Lincoln Tunnel. Buses will use the following routes:

-SIM1, SIM2, SIM4, SIM5, SIM32, and SIM34 run to/from Battery Pl via Trinity Pl, Church St, and 6 Av (NB) or 5 Av and Broadway (SB) and W 42 St to/from Lincoln Tunnel

-SIM7, SIM9, SIM33 run to/from Battery Pl via West St, and Spring St and 6 Av (NB) or 5 Av and W Houston St (SB) and W 42 St to/from Lincoln Tunnel

-SIM5, SIM15, SIM35 run to/from Water/Broad Sts via Water St, Frankfort St, and Park Row, then follow SIM1/2/3/4/6/7/9/10/11/31/32/33/34 route

-SIM3, SIM6, SIM10, SIM11, and SIM31 run to/from Battery Pl via FDR Dr and E 23 St, then follow SIM1/2/4/5/7/9/15/32/33/34/35 route

*All express buses travel through the Lincoln Tunnel and NJ to Staten Island*

In Staten Island:

-SIM1, SIM7, SIM9, and SIM10 run via SIM8 to Eltingville Transit Center, then follow normal route (opposite destination), turn at Narrows Rd {SIM9 follows SIM1/7/10}

-SIM2 follows its normal route after the Goethals Bridge

-SIM3 runs via SIM8 to Richmond Av, then (Port Richmond-bound) left on Richmond Av, then follows normal route

-SIM4 runs via SIM8 to Eltingville Transit Center, then follows normal route

-SIM5 and SIM6 run via SIM8 to Eltingville Transit Center, then follows normal route (opposite destination), turn at Verrazano Bridge entrance

-SIM11 runs via SIM8 to Eltingville Transit Center, then via SIM1/7/10 to Ebbitts St, then normal route (opposite destination)

-SIM15 runs via SIM8 to Eltingville Transit Center, then follows normal route (opposite direction), turns at Narrows Rd

-SIM31 runs via SIM8, but continues to Bradley Ave exit, then follows normal route

-SIM32 runs via SIM8 to Richmond Av/Victory Blvd, then follows normal route (right on Victory Blvd, NOT opposite destination)

-SIM33 runs via SIM8 to Richmond Av, then (Arlington-bound) left on Richmond Av, then follows normal route

-SIM34 runs via SIM8 to Richmond Av, then left on Richmond Av, right on Deppe Pl, then normal route (opposite destination), turn at Slosson Av/Victory Blvd

-SIM35 runs via SIM8 to Richmond Av, then left on Richmond Av, right on Forest Av, then normal route (opposite destination), turn at Howard Av

So every route should be covered, even those that share the same route (like SIM3/35 and SIM3/34) but will travel to different destinations based on coverage

Buses inside Staten Island will terminate/originate at. St. George Ferry Terminal.

Buses inside Brooklyn will operate as shuttle bus to operates to/from Bay Ridge NYC Ferry Terminal.

During this time, NYC Ferry will provide ferry service between Bay Ridge Pier and St. George Ferry Terminal for S53, S79, S93.

All SIM Express buses via VNB will operate regular route to SIE, but buses will proceed west on Staten Island Expressway West, onto Dr. Martin Expressway North to Bayonne Bridge, then follow sign to NJT Turnpike North to Holland Tunnel, down Varick St, West Broadway, Chambers St to regular route at West St. Opposite directions will be same, but buses will stay on West St to Chambers St, left on Church St, left on Canal St, into Holland Tunnel, NJ Turnpike South, then follow sign to Bayonne Bridge, onto Staten island Expressway, regular route.

NJ-bound: Begins at Ft. Washington Av/182nd-183rd Sts, continue north to Margaret Cabinet Drive, past Cloisters, bear left, then bear right to Ft. Tryon Place, onto Henry Hudson Parkway North, take Riverside Drive/Dyckman St exit, right onto Riverside Drive, turn sharp left onto Dyckman St, turn left onto Seaman Av, turn right at Riverside Drive, onto Harlem River Drive South, follow sign to George Washington Bridge.

This won't work.

In my scenario, the collapse means that the Trans-Manhattan Expressway is destroyed, so HRD WILL NOT WORK. Why can't you take a right on Overlook, then right on Bway, right on 179, enter GWB there?

True -- I thought buses could run on the HH Bridge though. Anybody know for sure?
