Far Rock Depot 1,291 Posted October 26, 2008 Share #3 Posted October 26, 2008 doubt it given the amount of time needed to dispatch buses and drivers. im gonna assume they gave out block tickets for the nearby B49?
Paul P 0 Posted October 26, 2008 Share #4 Posted October 26, 2008 That must have been a pain for lots of people, but that shuttle is just really like a forest...

Wow sounds like the old days of the "punishment line"...stories like service stopped cuz someone threw a stove on the tracks... Wonder what the debris was, if it was like "olden times" or if it was just branches getting blown down from the weather..
MTR Admiralty 4 Posted October 26, 2008 Share #6 Posted October 26, 2008 MTA New York City TransitService Alert Posted on:10/25/2008 5:07:47 PM Due to debris on the track at the Botanic Garden Station, there is no Franklin Avenue Shuttle train service in both direction on the entire line. It really sucks, as the shuttle runs uni-direction trackage for most of its line. And the debris happened to be on the only section of dual trackage. Luis1985 1 Posted October 26, 2008 Share #8 Posted October 26, 2008 its no biggie for me because if i ever needed to transfer from the ( to the Franklin Av Shuttle, i have alternates: BOTANIC GARDENS: Take the ( to Atlantic Av-Pacific St and transfer to the and get off at Franklin Av instead. its a lil extra time but i can handle it. PARK PLACE: Take the to Atlantic Av-Pacific St and transfer on the upper level to the B65 bus. FRANKLIN AV-FULTON STREET: Take the to DeKalb Av and transfer on the upper level to the B25 bus. Or if i dont want to do any of that, i can just take the to Prospect Park and transfer to the B48 (via Washington Av-Classon Av bus).
