NJT is not moving forward to next phase of project design and development until the legal proceedings are done. Capital planning won’t announce to the board until the legal proceedings are complete. The latest update in the legal proceedings is Ridegefied Park motion to file an appeal has been denied on April 16th 2021. A motion to proceed to complete the real estate closing was submitted on April 28th by NJT called a 5 day order to withdraw funds for the owners of the land. NJT is awaiting an court date on its ruling of this order. Once this is granted, the deal is complete and NJT become new owners of the land. Yes legal hearings are slow but it’s clear NJT has been granted eminent domain rights. Edited April 30, 2021 by Gmansports
