New toy!

Tonight, I picked up my latest toy to the mix: a Nikkor 80-200mm f/2.8D IF-ED. One of my high school teachers I had last year gave it to me, she's a photo nut too. Only things she wanted in exchange were my Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G DX and 55-200mm f/4-5.6G DX VR lenses, and that I shoot a soccer game tomorrow for her. Shouldn't be a problem, i'm fairly confident in being able to shoot one with this beast.

 

Now I just can't wait to get down to Forest Hills sometime and shoot me some trains. Yeee haw!

That is a great lens. It's a tack sharp and the Bokeh on that lens is supposed to be great. I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Looking forward to seeing some images.
