SubwayGuy Posted October 31, 2008 #1 Posted October 31, 2008 What happened along the Flatbush line this morning (Newkirk Ave)? 5's were turning in the AM at the Green and 2's were continuing on Eastern Parkway and on the Livonia line (at least if that announcement was correct)...maybe Trainmaster 5 or someone else who works those lines knew what happened? It sounded serious...passengers in MANHATTAN were being advised to take the trains to Nostrand and get the B44...
Abba Posted October 31, 2008 #2 Posted October 31, 2008 There was a police investigation at Newkirk Ave. according to the MTA website. Therefore all and trains were terminating at staions like Bowling Green, Atlantic New Lots Utica etc.,
SubwayGuy Posted October 31, 2008 Author #3 Posted October 31, 2008 Riight but I meant specifically if anyone knew what was going on. It sounded pretty serious whatever it was.
metsfan Posted October 31, 2008 #4 Posted October 31, 2008 Some problems are more serious than they sound. Smoke condition can range from smoldering trash near the 3rd rail to someone flick a cigarette in a trash can even though smoking isn't allowed anywhere on the subway or rail networks it connects with. - A
