Trainspotter Posted August 30, 2007 Share #1 Posted August 30, 2007 Cheverly, Landover and New Carrollton Metro Stations to Close this Weekend for Track Work This weekend Metro will undertake a major track rehabilitation project at the Cheverly Metrorail station on the Orange Line requiring the closure of the Cheverly, Landover and New Carrollton Metrorail stations. The Orange Line will operate from the Vienna/Fairfax-GMU to Deanwood Metrorail stations. Metro will provide free shuttle bus service between Deanwood and New Carrollton with stops at Cheverly and Landover to get riders around the closure. Read the full news release here.
