It's probably because you are a "new member" since you just joined the site within the past week. I would give it some time, and, after about a month, I would try to send a message or two. If you're still having trouble, let us know and we'll look into it. Things have happened in the past - although it's been a while, we don't want any repeats of any prior incidents - trust me.
