Here's the recent ones, starting with the 42nd St Shuttle, previously to 3-3-4 car trains totaling to 10 cars, to the construction timeline to 3-3 (when it used 4, the 4th is not in passenger use and barred off for passengers, T/O only) to now being 6-cars total

This is an R46 (G) almost making a relay at 4th Av-9 St to the northbound local track to Smith-9 Sts, destination: Court Sq. The R46 fleet assignment for Jamaica Yard used to be entirely 5482-6207, 6208-6258 (even's) now with the (G) using R160s due to CBTC, the assignment out of Jamaica Yard is 100% 5-car R160s from its order, 8653-9942.

Fleet swap recap -> Jamaica (E)(F)(R) with (G) and Coney Island (N)(W)(Q)

1) R46 out of Jamaica Yard: 5482-5841, assigned/moved as 5-car R179 sets made its way to the (A) :5842-5877 -> used on the (F)(R) , while Coney Island has 8653-8772, 8778-8837, 8843-9102, 9103-9107, 9113-9122, 9143-9152, 9163-9167, 9173-9177, 9183-9187, 9193-9202, 9208-9217, 9233-9237, 9248-9272, 9443-9482 -> used on the (N)(W)(Q) . R160s to Jamaica for CBTC on Queens Blvd while R46s to Coney Island for Broadway.

2) Trade was completed but Coney Island held on to Siemens 8913-8917, 9008-9012, 9023-9102 (9 10-car trainsets) that were exchanged for 9853-9942 that were Alstoms for the (N)(W) mostly to group the Siemens in one yard.

3) This was the current swap finished and completed. To move the last remaining R160s making it entirely CBTC, the MTA found a line that has the fleet total exact to the remainders, the Crosstown. The (G) is now in its place to use R160s due to CBTC coming close to the Culver line flipping the R46 and R68/As that were on the line as 4 75 ft car trains combining 2 4 car trains to 8, full length for the (N)(Q)(W). On the other hand, the R160s that were on Astoria were broken in 1/2 as 5 62 ft car trains for the (G) . This resulted 9853-9942 to be moved back to Jamaica Yard as the 5-car R160s are to be put in one yard, Jamaica. On the outside, the 4-car R160As are housed at East New York Yard.

* R160 change: The (Q) will be only used as a limited southbound trip from the (R) from 96 St to Coney Island. Upon arrival, that train is out of service to the yard sent back to the (R) . Fleet for the Quincy is R46 and R68/A like the Astoria line.
