P32ACDM 714 Posted November 10, 2008 Share #5 Posted November 10, 2008 Great Domes are used sometimes, there is no set time, they can be found on the Surfliner with the single level Horizon cars, or the Adirondack, which would be noted on the timetable. The Great Dome is in Amtrak service and is in Phase IV Paint IIRC, it was originally used on the Great Northern Empire Builder. The car can also be in charter service and is numbered 10031.
