JustLok 18 Posted November 10, 2008 Share #13 Posted November 10, 2008 Those two slants at Rockaway look to be school cars only. And I believe they had the fareboxes @ Howard Beach for the GO Shuttle Buses to register the fare as a new one or as a transfer from the Shuttle Buses. Probably ran out of the GO slips. Or just cutting back on handpower.

Paul P 0 Posted November 10, 2008 Share #15 Posted November 10, 2008 Yes, passenger without G.O ticket have to paid. As far as I have used the shuttle bus service replacing a train, the b/o never asks for that G.O slip...
FamousNYLover 580 Posted November 10, 2008 Author Share #16 Posted November 10, 2008 For example like Broad Channel, and passengers would not get on free shuttle bus to Howard Beach and paid at farebox there. Why can't local shuttle bus stop at Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge or Broad Channel Library. That would make more easier.
