Due to an incident involving a crane at the intersection of Jackson Avenue and Southern Boulevard, please expect delays in and train service at this time.

 

I hope another crane didnt collapse.:confused:

It doesn't matter if the cross street not near the subway station....they have to shut down the trains closest to the intersection so the noise or vibrations don't make the crane collapse!

but whats a crane...? Or is it cuz of constuction, cuz this happened at prospect once, which lead all trains to back up, like a AM Express terminated on M track of 174th and went back with LOADS of passengers

It's construction, other cranes won't make the ground vibrate except for an earthquake!

Jackson Avenue does not even intersect Southern Boulevard. The Jackson Avenue station is on Westchester Avenue.

also the service Altert is canceled so the White Plains Road Line is fixed
