Due to a vehicular accident on the Brooklyn Queens Expressway at Kent Avenue, all Staten Island/Brooklyn Express buses and the B24 bus are running with delays.

 

Also, due to a water main break in the area of Richmond Terrace and Treadwell Avenue, S40 and S90 buses are being detoured as follows:

 

Eastbound: via Richmond Terrace, right on Morningstar Road, left on Innus Street, left on Nicholas Street, right on Castleton Avenue, left on Faber Street, right on Richmond Terrace, then regular.

 

Westbound: via Richmond Terrace, left on Sharpe Avenue, right on Castleton Avenue, left on Nicholas Street, right on Innus Street, right on Morningstar Road, left on Richmond Terrace, then regular.

 

In addition, due to the Veteran's Day Parade along 5th Avenue from 23rd to 57th Street, please expect delays on the following bus routes: M1, M2, M3, M4, M5, M6, M7, M42, M50, Q32, M104, X1, X10, BxM3, BxM4A, BxM4B, BxM6, BxM7, BxM9, BxM10, BxM11, and the BxM18.

 

Due to a street fair in Lower Manhattan: M1 and M6 buses will make southbound M15 bus stops on Pearl Street and Water Street.

 

Southbound buses will leave Broadway at Ann Street and run non-stop via Park Row and Frankfort Street to Pearl Street and Water Street to Hanover Square.

 

The X1, X3, X4, X10, X11, X12, X16, X17A, X17C, X19, X27, X28, and X29 express buses will make the following stops: Frankfort Street at Pearl Street, Water Street at Fulton Street, Maiden Lane and Hanover Square. Please expect delays in Lower Manhattan bus service.

 

In addition, due to New York City Police Department activity on Madison Avenue and 50th Street the following detour is in affect:

 

Northbound: M1, M2, M3, M4, and Q32 buses will bypass the 49th and 50th Street bus stops.

 

Eastbound: M27 and M50 buses will bypass the Madison Avenue bus stop.

 

All limited buses will make stops at 47th, 48th, and 53rd Streets at this time.

 

I'ts unusual that the MTA posts service alerts about buses. Now there are 3 of them.
