Paul P Posted November 15, 2008 Author Share #7 Posted November 15, 2008 how do you find out when and where they're going to have a fan trip. as much as a rail fan i consider myself i've always wondered about that As I went to the Transit Museum talked to some of the workers there, plus they have a display of events like that, although they are not in the museum calendar! Radioguy Posted November 15, 2008 Share #8 Posted November 15, 2008 Never knew about the cat. It makes sense for pest control, but I worry about him getting stuck under a car. As I went to the Transit Museum talked to some of the workers there, plus they have a display of events like that, although they are not in the museum calendar! It would be nice if someone would regularly post those here as a consideration to those who cannot visit the museum regularly. Maybe just occassional snapshots of the board in question? Paul P Posted November 15, 2008 Author Share #9 Posted November 15, 2008 The cat has been there for a couple of months now, they said, I also wondered how it is living between people and trains all the time, but I also saw a cat at prospect Park, he lives there and sleeps by the 3rd rail, when trains drool by. Scary. As for me, I would do that of course, but since I don't live in New York, I usually go there when I am in New York, and that way try to inform, but you can always call them and ask for train excursions!
