hi mate, welcome. Make sure you are running the Latest Version of Microsoft's DirectX

 

If you are Running:

 

Windows XP, 98/SE, ME, 2000= DirectX 9.0C

WIndows Vista- DirectX 10.1 (FOR SP1)/10 for RTM

Windows 7 Milestones(BETA or 6801+)- DirectX 11

 

Download it at MSFT(or use this link, to download the Updates for DirectX 9c, 10x and 11):

And it should resolve your problem
