I don't think the Train of Many Colors will be out for the rest of the year, but if you want to ride a vintage train, the Arnines will be running on Nov. 30th and supposedly every Sunday in December on the V Line between Queens Plaza and Second Ave.

Novabus 5000 Posted November 17, 2008 Share #10 Posted November 17, 2008 it starts at queens plaza at 10:30AM? At 10:30 yeah but I think that that the train cars are at either at CIY or 207. If at any of those two yards then 2nd av is the starter.

AA 8th Avenue Posted November 18, 2008 Share #15 Posted November 18, 2008 The train starts at 10am at 2nd ave station and leaves queens plaza at 10:45am back towards 2nd ave. I rode it and took pics last year and rode it twice before I got off. It was fun too see people freak out especially the tourists who were like what is this train?? yeah but thats the schedule...(NYCT)

Fred G Posted November 18, 2008 Share #22 Posted November 18, 2008 yes i know, I mean is it making stops, or just Queens Plaza and 2nd It makes all the stops as it's a V train basically in revenue service, but special because it's on the weekend. It's a great time, as there are a lot of surprised faces and enthusiastic new riders of museum trains.

sfnyc Posted November 19, 2008 Share #25 Posted November 19, 2008 Just saw the ad at the W4th street subway entrance that the Holiday Nostalgia Train will run again this holiday season. It will start Sunday November 30 and run each sunday through the end of December. As it did last year, the train will originate at 2nd ave and run up 6th Ave to Queens Plaza. It was a lot of fun and brought back many memories. An assortment of cars comprised the Nostalgia Train.
