Ongoing Blue Line Diversion

Between Airport and Government Stations

Saturday, September 8th through Sunday, September 9th

 

To accommodate construction for the Maverick Station Modernization project, MBTA bus replacement service will be necessary between Airport and Government Center Stations throughout the weekend of September 8th.

 

Commencing at the start of service on Saturday September 8th, and continuing through the end of service on Sunday September 9th, Maverick, Aquarium, State Street, and Government Center Stations will be CLOSED. Blue Line service between Airport and Government Center Stations will be replaced with free shuttle bus service. Shuttle bus service will stop at each station, and will operate in accordance with regular train schedules.

 

Shuttle buses are free; standard fares will be collected at all stations between Wonderland and Airport Stations.

 

LOGAN AIRPORT TRAVELERS NOTE: Customers can take advantage of Silver Line service to Logan Airport from South Station. Airport-bound Silver Line vehicles will depart every (12) minutes on Saturday and Sunday.

 

Normal Blue Line service will resume at the start of service on Monday, September 10th, 2007.
