I'm writing an article on the bus driving experience, ridership, apps, and the current and future MTA game plan.  So far I've interviewed a Rider's Alliance rep and also reached out to the Bus Turn Around folks (http://busturnaround.nyc/) which I believe is a subset of another transit group.  There are some apps and actually a new accessibility one for people who are blind or have limited sight, however MTA is piloting is only one bus line MTA https://new.mta.info/press-release/mta-pilots-smartphone-app-to-help-blind-and-low-vision-bus-riders [2020 article) The forum appears to have conversations dating back to 2010 or so I'm trying to sift through and select.  I did find a more recent bus/mask convo.  I'll continue to search and limit all transportation topics to Manhattan - and this month. .My deadline, of course LoL is September 20th COB.  Thank you for having the forum - I hope I'll be able to contribute in some way. Public Transportation, of course, is something I love to cover.
