MTR Admiralty Posted January 1, 2009 Author Share #127 Posted January 1, 2009 Well, I ain't in some sections, so you don't have to complain like you are going nuts... And shut the hell up if you will, you are trying to get me banned... Anyways.. did you look at the map I said, on Page 1 of this thread? I do recall that you were talking about a specific curve and its relation to the 10th Avenue station.

MTR Admiralty Posted January 1, 2009 Author Share #129 Posted January 1, 2009 They could just build it around between 9th ave and 10th ave... No need to build a curve station, ! As I have already mentioned quite a number of times, a station near Chelsea Piers will suffice and would be more cost effective than a station at 10th Avenue. R32 3348 Posted January 4, 2009 Share #131 Posted January 4, 2009 Damn, I leave for a month and I come back to this. Keep the station at 23rd Street I don't see what's so structurally hard to build about the 10th Ave station if it was perfectly ok in the FEIS. No big deal at all. If Obama gives us the money then we'll build it. That's like saying we should tear down Myrtle-Broadway because it's too hard to turn a train over a curve if it crosses tracks with another train. No here is the thing: if you have money... what would you build? A station at 10th? Or at 23rd Street? I would opt for the one at Chelsea Piers, due to the cost effectiveness.
