Paul P Posted January 18, 2009 Author Share #28 Posted January 18, 2009 I do have an excuse, transportation in Delaware is very brought down, but my mom doesn't have time to drive me around, so I just ride the buses or regional rail!

Paul P Posted January 18, 2009 Author Share #31 Posted January 18, 2009 Yeah, since it is a very small state like R.I. ... Hope the transportation improves over there, R.I. has good transportation by the way... It is mostly used by those who cannot afford a car, which is very sad, but if the state is small, it's not a very good excuse for bad transport. Still so many tourists come here in the summer! Paul P Posted January 19, 2009 Author Share #34 Posted January 19, 2009 Yes, most likely by Amtrak, from Wilmington you can take buses, but lower state where I live is not very much developed for public transportation.

Paul P Posted January 19, 2009 Author Share #36 Posted January 19, 2009 http://dartfirststate.com/information/getting_there/fares/index.shtml Depends on the distance you travel, city buses are $1 or $1.15, but intercounty buses are $1 per travel zone, except for route 301 (Dover - Wilmington) which I think is cheap enough, plus we got R2 that starts at Newark and goes to Philadelphia. A dollar?! Nice! Well, given the size of Delaware, you do have a decent transport system in the north half of the state.

Yeah I have to admit, in a transit rider's POV, New York is way better.
Paul P Posted January 19, 2009 Author Share #40 Posted January 19, 2009 Well not just that of course, I can't expect my mom to drive me around all the time, but if there's no public transportation even of some sort and I'm 15, I'm kind of stuck. lol;)

Paul P Posted January 21, 2009 Author Share #42 Posted January 21, 2009 You should attend a NYC college. I'm not sure yet, but I'm going for engineering, there's lots of colleges out there. But I do know for sure I'm going to college.

But I do know for sure I'm going to college. Try Cooper Union, it's a pretty good school. Plus, it's close to the and the and the M101 terminates here. So you have good railfanning and busfanning ops there at CU.
