Y2Julio Posted November 30, 2008 Share #2 Posted November 30, 2008 Best Blu-Ray player right now is the PlayStation 3. It has support for all the profiles. Plus as they keep updating the Blu-Ray specs, they can update the PS3 via firmware to support it.

Y2Julio Posted November 30, 2008 Share #4 Posted November 30, 2008 He made a typo. He's talking about the High-Def video format, Blu-Ray.
Harry Posted November 30, 2008 Share #5 Posted November 30, 2008 I picked up the Panasonic DMP-BD55K (Black) a couple of weeks ago and I have no regrets. It is the hottest Blu-ray player out now and you can't go wrong with it. It has the latest firmware, BD Live, Bitstream audio, excellent DVD upscaling, great overall video picture quality and much more.

Myrtle Local Posted December 1, 2008 Share #12 Posted December 1, 2008 PS3 is the best choice out there, I'm not the biggest Sony fan but this is something they have done right! Alot of people I know with standalone decks have big problems watching certain movies until a firmware upgrade is released. Even if you're not a video game player you should still I'd still recommend it because it's the best blu ray player and it's a great home media center
