Due to a train with mechanical problems at the Cypress Avenue, Pelham Bay Park-bound (6) train service is running express from the 3rd Avenue-138th Street Station to the Hunts Point Avenue Station.

 

Due to a smoke condition at the DeKalb Avenue Station, Norwood-bound (D) and 57th Street-bound (Q) trains are running on the (R) line from the DeKalb Avenue Station to the Canal Street Station.

 

In addition, due to debris on the track at the 96th Street Station, Van Cortlandt Park-bound (1) trains are running express from the Times Square-42nd Street Station to the 96th Street Station and selected South Ferry-bound (1) trains are terminating at the 96th Street Station.

 

Also, due to an ongoing rail condition at the 14th Street-Union Square Station, please expect delays in (L) train service in both directions.

 

In addition, due to inclement weather conditions, please expect delays in service on (2), (3)(4), and (5) train service in both directions.

 

Please expect delays in service on the (1) trains at this time.

That's a lot of alerts... I am sure this is seriously hindering a heavily used system during the busiest time of the year. Hope people aren't too inconvenienced!!

I dont understand that one either, I think its a switch issue.

Following an earlier incident, (1), (L), and (Q) train service has resumed with residual delays.

 

Also, due to inclement weather conditions, please expect delays in service on (2), (3), (4), and (5) train service in both directions at this time.

If the (D) had to go to Canal Street, then how can it go to the Bronx? Maybe the Bronx (D) trains had to terminate at 34th Street, and the Brooklyn (D) terminated at 57th Street. Lots of issues today.
