Same Alstom purpulsion. It's the same that the uses but the only difference much is that A-1's are in 4 car sets, and A-2's are in 5 car sets. Correct me if I'm wrong. Guest Charles Posted December 23, 2008 Share #21 Posted December 23, 2008 These R160As do look nice on the , though the FIND display (in other threads) do seem a little out of place. A bit hard to read. In terms of actual durability and reliability, I wonder how it'll hold up.

Princelex 288 Posted December 23, 2008 Share #23 Posted December 23, 2008 I was fortunate to catch the R160 on the last night and it was a weird yet cool experience. I was in car 9242 going to Queens and 9237 going back to Manhattan. I caught up with a couple of my friends on the train and we enjoyed the train. I rides very smooth and when there wasn't anything in front of us, we moved very quickly. IMO, the C/R's need more training, but it wasn't too bad. I give yesterday a B. I can't wait to see what these trains look like on the next.
