I'm not going to bother hunting for an R160A on the (E), because I like the R42's on (E). I'm going to wait for the (F) to get the cars, then I'll hunt for the R160A/B on (E). Nice photos though.

Now that's what I like to see. The next stop announcement really shatters the silence. Also old meets new. I will definitely go hunt this over vacation. Great vid and catch.

Nice catch and clean photos. Thanks for sharing. What kind of propulsion is that and is that the same one on the (J) as well?

Same Alstom purpulsion. It's the same that the (J) uses but the only difference much is that A-1's are in 4 car sets, and A-2's are in 5 car sets.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

These R160As do look nice on the (E), though the FIND display (in other threads) do seem a little out of place. A bit hard to read. In terms of actual durability and reliability, I wonder how it'll hold up.

I was fortunate to catch the R160 on the (E) last night and it was a weird yet cool experience. I was in car 9242 going to Queens and 9237 going back to Manhattan. I caught up with a couple of my friends on the train and we enjoyed the train. I rides very smooth and when there wasn't anything in front of us, we moved very quickly. IMO, the C/R's need more training, but it wasn't too bad. I give yesterday a B. I can't wait to see what these trains look like on the (F) next.
