It's a safety design. yeah, the T/A should make this a GO for that day especially its worst at TSQ there aint no exit only exit is ether on the IND or IRT Broadway Bronx/Brooklyn Exit at 40th yes i know the is obsolete lol but i love it ! I believe this was posted on the New Year's Eve posters on every subway station in the system. Do they give out free rides? Some cities do, to prevent drunks driving home.
