(N), (R), (W), and (1) trains skipping stations...

Not new, they did this every year. Every year the trains skip 49th and 50th.

Many people would be using these stations if they were open, to go to Times Square and watch the ball drop. It's a safety design.

 

yeah, the T/A should make this a GO for that day

 

especially its worst at TSQ there aint no exit only exit is ether on the IND (A)(C)(E) or IRT Broadway Bronx/Brooklyn Exit at 40th (1)(9)(2)(3)

 

yes i know the (9) is obsolete lol but i love it !

I believe this was posted on the New Year's Eve posters on every subway station in the system.

Do they give out free rides? Some cities do, to prevent drunks driving home.
