Amtrak7 Posted January 4, 2009 Share #1 Posted January 4, 2009 I have a Canon Vixia HF11 that I use for both pictures and videos. Videos come out fine. Photos have a layer of random RGB pixels on top of them if I turn off 'Easy mode'. To see what I mean, take a picture of an underground station and put it through equalize in Photoshop. Zoom in and see the pixels. How do I get the pictures to come out well?
SubaruWRX Posted January 4, 2009 Share #2 Posted January 4, 2009 well the lighting in most stations are not that good so noise will be seen more.. I have a Nikon D70 and a Canon 10D I shoot with when I go into the city not sure if your camera has a setting but you have to adjust your ISO settings your manual should go over this stuff.. Most of it will be trial and error at first until you get the hang of it.
error46146 Posted January 8, 2009 Share #3 Posted January 8, 2009 it sounds like what your describing is grain all cameras do that you just have the ISO high, try lowering the ISO and the random colors should go away be advised tho if you lower the ISO then you'll have to use a longer shutter speed
