Steeler Posted February 19, 2009 Share #52 Posted February 19, 2009 There is a CNG fueling station near JFK depot. I'll get photo evidence when I can. 257 and 305 are not in College Point, they've been in Eastchester Depot for a week atleast now. You can get all the photo evidence you want. Maybe you'll find a CNG fueling tank somewhere in South Jamaica. But you will not find one on JFK depot property. Believe me I work there.
kngmn Posted February 19, 2009 Share #53 Posted February 19, 2009 last month i saw #257 was rolling on Gun Hill depot. and #305 was on West Farms depot. the picture that i saw now on #193. why does it have Gun Hill depot sticker. so that mean if college point depot reiceve #193 - #202 or #300 series. that is silly. will CollegePoint DEPOT will get 2009 orion7ng soon. ? will they get Nova bus LFX? now they carrying old bus that use to run on Gun hill depot , Casey Stengal depot and West farms depot. that might #9800 series going to West Farms depot. and one chance is college point depot will get maybe propbably 2004 orion7 #7600 - #7700 series that will come out West Farms Depot soon. and #9800 series will go to West Farms depot i hope gun hill depot recieve new 2009 orion7ng. next stop is Flatbush avenue

RokuSix Posted February 21, 2009 Share #58 Posted February 21, 2009 #304 has been on the QBx1 for about a week and a half now. But in addition to adding on the plain Orion Vs, they've been redoing a lot of the CNG interiors. More single seats have been added.
Guest Charles Posted February 22, 2009 Share #59 Posted February 22, 2009 Nice picture of 304! Still can't get used to the Orion Vs without that distinctive sound on any of the College Point routes!

Q25toJamaica Posted February 22, 2009 Share #62 Posted February 22, 2009 Let's see: You have 8240 8297 8340 8356 7212 9715 9723 9731 9747 9766 9791 9793 That makes 12. Does SC still have 8249? They've been getting a lot more 1990 TMCs now, they also have 8314, 8320, 8355, and a few others I cant remember off the top of my head.
Steeler Posted February 23, 2009 Share #63 Posted February 23, 2009 I never said JFK depot property, I said JFK. The airport area. All I got to do is take the Port Authority bus and walk. Then why bring it up? The poster I answered stated the JFK depot has the capabilty to fuel CNG buses. My answer to him is it doesn't have a CNG fuel tank. There might be a fueling station in the airport. But has nothing to do with Greenlines, or MTABus.

7LineFan Posted February 23, 2009 Share #65 Posted February 23, 2009 I'm wondering why they only repainted the back of 104, not the rest.

Q43 Floral Park Posted February 26, 2009 Share #70 Posted February 26, 2009 Ok I got a look at this bus during the day and it is a MTA BUS HYbrid Electric.....bus 3862 but it is strange that the back black paint is scraped off. That's really odd: 1. Are you sure it's 3862? 2. 3862 shouldn't have had a black back in the 1st place. It's an NG they all came with whitebacks.
