error46146 1,007 Posted September 20, 2007 Share #3 Posted September 20, 2007 you think their gonna do that?? in the MTA, everything is apparently very very hush-hush for some reason like last winter, i remember they did the thing on the 2/3 lines that got everybody pissed off. it was last winter, and they didn't want to damage the R142's by keeping them in the yard and out in the cold or snow or whatever. so instead, they kept the R142's on the 7th Avenue Express tracks. But, apparently, someone in the MTA had this Wonderful idea of NOT telling anybody at all (no NY1, not even on their weekly G.O e-mail) and make the trains run local just like that. (sadly, i was a victim of that scam as well). so again, i doubt the MTA will ever say anything about that.
