The drawing is very good! Interesting that you have the R40 signed as a (N) to 179 Street.

Thanks! The idea of the (N) train to go to 179 Street reminded me when the (N) train went to 71st/Continental(idk is that right?, i don't remember) and thought it would be on rush hour, yet i would have put (F) but I wanted to be unique.

Looking nice! :)

Thanks!

Interesting... And yes the (N) used to go to FH-71st/Continental Ave. but they swapped it with the (R)...

Thanks for the info. Now I'm starting to get past memories when the (R) went to QBP back in '98 (or somewhere that time, it looked freaky seeing that car on the EL)

I am not sure since I didn't exsist those days, :)! Most likely R-46s...

Car assignments were wacked up backed then. It is less organised as now probably.

Anyone got the 1987 car assignments?

I agree because of all people getting wild on the Grafitti thing...

Graffiti, yes a problem, but more importantly the R30's appeared in several lines, and when the R68's came around, they were all in single sets, and ran on the (D)(N) and (Q6), which was signed sometimes as a <Q>

The (A) used R30, R32, and R44

(:P had R40 slant cars, R30's

(C) had R10s, R30's and R32

(D) had R68, some R42, R40M, and R10's. The R68A's displaced the R10's

(E) had some R46, and R42, and R32

(F) had R46, and some R32, and rarely an R30

(G) not sure

(J), not sure

(L) had R30 cars, and R42

(M) had R30 cars and R42

(N) had R30, R32, R40, R40M, R42, and R68

(Q) used R68

(R) had R46, and some R42, and R32

(3)(4) trains first to use the R62 car series.

Not sure about the (1)(2)(5)(6)(7) routes

That's all I can recall, but I can be incorrect about these assignments.

No....the (N) lay ups head to the Astoria Line on the middle track inb/w 39th Avenue-Beebe Avenue and Astoria Blvd-Hoyt Avenue!

I meant back then, before the 1987 switcharoo.
