metsfan Posted January 12, 2009 Share #1 Posted January 12, 2009 Due to Switch Problems, trains on the Main/Bergen, Pascack Valley, and Port Jervis Lines are operating 45 to 60 minutes late. Eastbound Northeast Corridor and North Jersey Coast Line has been restored with 20-30 delays. Trains will bypass Rahway and Linden. A trespasser was struck & killed near linden station. For 15 minutes there were no trains allowed near in either direction, amtrak service has been affected as well, the severity of those delays i am unsure of. I will call in and post info now. Edit: Amtrak call center agents have not been given any information as of this posting. Edit: Eastbound NEC and NJCL has been restored with 20-30 delays.
