trainspot12 21 Posted January 12, 2009 Share #1 Posted January 12, 2009 I think this is a great title. Feel sorry for those who were victims to Madoff's scandal. How can this even happen and especially in this country? How is this going to affect us (IRS lost $15B). This better not affect tax returns from going out, because it ain't going to be a nice atmosphere.

Shortline Bus 1,121 Posted January 12, 2009 Share #3 Posted January 12, 2009 Not trying to bring social status or class (ie sound like Karl Marx)into this chat but if this guy was middle class they would have thrown away the key away and place him in jail for life. There two America's, right now one for the world richest people and the other for everyone else.

TransitGuy 1 Posted January 12, 2009 Share #6 Posted January 12, 2009 Judge kept Madoff under "House" arrest. Poor guy, he'll only be able to stay in his central part apartment. Unbelievable the guy swindles billions and even performs more criminal acts by mailing millions to family members and yet the guy doesn't go to jail.
