Nice shots, Curt. I don't think i've ever been south of Morgan Ave. on the (L) or Franklin Ave. on the (A). You should give me a heads up next time you fellas take a trip, i'd love to come.

Thanks Joe....sure the next time we do a railfan trip I'll let you know 4 sho. The (L) elevated stations are best to railfan!

I never knew NYCT was using concrete ties until I saw these pics either. Is there an eventual plan to replace all outdoor wooden ties with concrete ones? Using them underground would likely be problematic due to humidity and temperature issues, it's pretty brutal down there during the summers.

nice one, but when u take night/Sun Set shots, you should try to take the picture before the train gets closer to the cam. So it wouldnt shake

@Orion although u can raise the MPs, it wouldnt be so good to rase to high, cuz one photo can end up being 10MB cuz of the MP. Just like my 7MP, it came out to 8MB

Awesome pictures and videos Curtis! South Ferry almost made us deaf, man was The Brighton Line cold or what, but totally worth it ! B)

Thanks Shane...yes Brighton was cold and South Ferry made us deaf...I'll miss the noise once it closes and it well worth it;)

Well the I didn't know the (L) was using concrete tiles either, but the Sea Beach and Rockaway Line are using concrete tiles has well. I guess eventually the wooden tiles wil get replaced by the concrete ones

Yay for representing East New York! Nice pictures. Saw you on Youtube as well. Great stuff. You gotta come to New Lots with me once I get back in NY. Oh, and isn't Brighton just completely impeccable when it comes to railfanning?
