I Believe I Might Have Found A Way past Those Rear Door Announcements on the NGs

Last night I took the B46 and caught 3928. As if that wasn't good enough, I went to signal for the stop right after Winthrop Ave (on the limited bus made it Church Avenue) and I pushed the button just as the door was closing. To my surprise, the bus requested sign lit, but the announcement did not sound.

 

I might be wrong about this, but for once, that announcement did not rear its ugly voice.

 

Do comment if you find this to be wrong info. I just thought that some of you guys would like to know that there might be help after all.
