Presidents' Day Weekend Service Information

 

Effective Date: January 29, 2009

 

Friday, February 13, 2009 - Service will operate on a weekday schedule on all lines with additional early getaway trains operating between noon and 5:00 p.m. on the Morris & Essex, Northeast Corridor, and North Jersey Coast lines. Sunday, February 15, 2009 - Regular weekend schedules are in effect, except on the Atlantic City Rail Line.

Atlantic City Rail Line will operate on a Saturday schedule.

The 11:47 p.m. and the 1:45 a.m. departures from Atlantic City will operate.

*

The 12:46 a.m. departure from Atlantic City will not operate.

*

The 1:50 a.m. departure from Philadelphia will operate.

 

Presidents’ Day, Monday, February 16, 2009

 

*

Montclair-Boonton Line will operate a special schedule during the morning and afternoon peak period times between Montclair State University and Penn Station New York, and between Lake Hopatcong and Hoboken. Please see a timetable or visit http://www.njtransit.com for details.

Northeast Corridor, North Jersey Coast, Raritan Valley, and Port Jervis lines will operate on a weekend/major holiday schedule with additional service during morning and afternoon peak periods. Please see timetables or http://www.njtransit.com for details.

Main, Bergen County, Pascack Valley, Raritan Valley and Morris & Essex lines will operate on a weekend/major holiday schedule.

Atlantic City Rail Line will operate on a Sunday schedule.

The 12:46 a.m. departure from Atlantic City will operate and is the last train of the night.

The 11:47 p.m. and the 1:45 a.m. departures from Atlantic City will not operate.

The 11:42 p.m. departure from Philadelphia is the last train of the night.

*

The 1:50 a.m. departure from Philadelphia will not operate.
