SevenEleven Posted February 5, 2009 Share #1 Posted February 5, 2009 Hey guys, Recently on my way home from school, I've been hearing that the has Far Rockaway service suspended due to signal problems. This is the second time I heard this in the past week. What's really going on to cause signal problems so often? Can anyone shed some light? Thanks 7-
Amtrak7 Posted February 5, 2009 Share #2 Posted February 5, 2009 Could it be with the Far Rockaway work on weekends incomplete, the tracks are not in the best condition to run trains?
Joe C Posted February 5, 2009 Share #3 Posted February 5, 2009 Could it be with the Far Rockaway work on weekends incomplete, the tracks are not in the best condition to run trains? If that were the case, trains wouldn't be running untill those tracks are able to handle traffic.
MattTrain Posted February 9, 2009 Share #4 Posted February 9, 2009 The to and from Far Rockaway isn't very frequent, and signal problems can be such a pain if that happens.
