ACES and some others from PJ

Spent the day at Princeton Junction waiting for the ACES train. I'll share some transit photos here.

 

First off was 4603 and a set of Multilevels heading to Trenton:

4621 then pushed a set of ML's

An ArrowIII set to Trenton was the next transit train

The Hudson Protect crew came through on their way to Morrisville PA.

4604 a mixed set of Comets were next to NYP

Then the ACES Train came through on its way to NYP

After ACES we took a little break and headed over to see the Dinky.

Then we headed back over to the platform in order to wait for the ACES Train to AC. The first transit train to pass by was 4628 with a set Multilevels headed for Trenton 4616 was on the end of the set.

4430 came through pushing a set of mixed comets to NYP

4627 came through with a set of Multilevels head for Trenton

4417 came through next headed to Trenton with a set of Mixed Comets

An ArrowIII set with a single unit 1313 leading came through on its way to NYP.

Another ArrowIII set came through on the way to NYP

Then 4800 leading the ACES Train back to Atlantic City.

and finally on our way back to the car we noticed 4605 and a Trenton bound set pulled in so we got off a few shots, notice it does not say NJ Transit but rather NJ Ransit:)

I'll have to check my photo data but there were quite a few mixed Comet sets out there which was nice to see because there are periods when weeks will go by with nothing but just Arrows and Multilevels.

 

I kinda dread the single levels now, because they mean crowding & sitting next to someone who may be a nasty or a loudmouth, plus if there are loudmouths nearby you can't escape AND find another seat. Going from trenton i don't mind the EMU, they are fun and i like how they sound. Coming from newark i need those multilevels or there are just not enough seats especially on peak hours. The 7:26 train is always packed, so i often give up on that & wait for the 8:26. If you don't get on at nyp..... hard to find a seat. We need that THE tunnel and related trackage!!!!! :eek::eek::cry:

Either of you get a photo of the 9:29 NY bound train feb 6? I was on that one. I saw lotta people at princeton jct with cameras. Ok, well... i saw a few but usually there are none when i look. :cool:
