Rush hour R160

R160 cars are really reliable for their standing room and seats, they're much more roomier that some earlier cars. Anyways I took random photos of the insides and exteriors of the R160 cars.

Here's the (Q) again.

I need me some astoria shots. Great stuff man!

Thanks a lot, Astoria is a fun place to take photographs. I took a photo of an R160B set on the (N) running express in Astoria because that train was running late to Ditmars Boulevard.

Do I smell something fishy? There is NO GUARANTEE OF ANY OF THIS!!!! WHAT ARE YOU, THE Father OF THE SUBWAYS?

Nice pics!

Thanks for the comment, subway car rumors have been going around lately about the R160's lately. We'll have to see and wait.

Excellent collection, some are shaky but decent and make me feel the speed of the Subway, B)! Hue is also pretty nice, B)!

Thank you, the train did shake when I was moving and that is when I took some photos, my mistake. The color hue I did on purpose too. :)

No problem...

It is okay, not your mistake, the MTA's mistake of making trains so shaky, B)!

I like the color hue, B)!

Thank you very much, well here's my last set for the day. It's a R160B on the (W) and a new set too debuting last week actually.

i just took a guess.

i do want to see if (:) and (D) line get R160's.

bronx riders will happt to see R160s in the bronx.

but my favorite thing is if (E)(F)(G)(R) line ( queens blvd line

be all R160's

The (E) and (F) will be using R160 subway cars, I don't know about the (G)(R) or (V) but an R160 has been tested on the (G). The (B)(D), I'm not sure about. That would be good though.

The E and the F are getting R160s for sure.

The G may be transferred to Coney Island Yard, so it will received stock based from there. This is indefinite.

The R and V will most likely to be using R46s.

These are my specs:

IF.. Coney Island receives the Option 2 order of the R160s, then the B may as well run R160s.

The D, which is based out of Concourse Yard, will continue to use R68s.

Can we stick back to the topic please? I was photographing R160 cars during rush hours, well with the exception of the R160 (W) train set posted last, that was the 9143-9147 in use last week.

You can't really stick back to the topic in a photo thread...after everyone says 'nice pics' the thread is left to abandonment/discussion of random things.

Oh I see, well the posts aren't really off topic so far, it's just me making a big deal out of it, sorry.
