MattTrain Posted February 14, 2009 Share #1 Posted February 14, 2009 R160 cars are really reliable for their standing room and seats, they're much more roomier that some earlier cars. Anyways I took random photos of the insides and exteriors of the R160 cars. Here's the again. Got off at Avenue H to avoid the grouchy crowd staring at me like I'm crazy. MattTrain Posted February 15, 2009 Author Share #10 Posted February 15, 2009 I need me some astoria shots. Great stuff man! Thanks a lot, Astoria is a fun place to take photographs. I took a photo of an R160B set on the running express in Astoria because that train was running late to Ditmars Boulevard. Do I smell something fishy? There is NO GUARANTEE OF ANY OF THIS!!!! WHAT ARE YOU, THE Father OF THE SUBWAYS? Nice pics! Thanks for the comment, subway car rumors have been going around lately about the R160's lately. We'll have to see and wait. Excellent collection, some are shaky but decent and make me feel the speed of the Subway, B)! Hue is also pretty nice, B)! Thank you, the train did shake when I was moving and that is when I took some photos, my mistake. The color hue I did on purpose too.

The G may be transferred to Coney Island Yard, so it will received stock based from there. This is indefinite. The R and V will most likely to be using R46s. These are my specs: IF.. Coney Island receives the Option 2 order of the R160s, then the B may as well run R160s. The D, which is based out of Concourse Yard, will continue to use R68s. MattTrain Posted February 17, 2009 Author Share #22 Posted February 17, 2009 Can we stick back to the topic please? I was photographing R160 cars during rush hours, well with the exception of the R160 train set posted last, that was the 9143-9147 in use last week.
