paulrivera Posted February 15, 2009 Share #1 Posted February 15, 2009 I Came off the shuttle at 207th fresh off a night of railfanning with an old friend, and i JUST MISSED it! it departed 207/Broadway to Bay Plaza at 2315. I was so desperate I think I left a trail of foam from 207/Bway all the way to 10th. It got held up by some traffic going around the bend back to 207, so I ran across 207 leaving behind a 1/2 mile foamline. Just as it looked like I was going to catch up to it at 10th Avenue (I was half a block away) it pulled off. sry, no pics, but i think the foam trail is still there. On the bright side, I did get a slant , my first 160 , a 160 to Astoria, and came within 5 minutes of getting an NG hybrid on the M60 (my friend got on it to go home.) SevenEleven Posted February 16, 2009 Share #3 Posted February 16, 2009 A very descriptive narrative..I will believe it when I see it. 'Tis True. The LFS Artic moved from Manhattan, and is now running in the Bronx on the Bx12. http://www.nyctransitforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7998

MTR Admiralty Posted February 17, 2009 Share #5 Posted February 17, 2009 Yea, it's true. Wow, there was a huge time difference between my other post here and the post I had made in the link provided by SevenEleven. I hope you all respect that time difference. According to someone on buschat it passed the 30 day test and is now the TA's bus. It will be repainted and renumbered.

WestSideJeff Posted February 20, 2009 Share #14 Posted February 20, 2009 Most likely Nova will upgrade it to a production bus, now that the MTA's showing interest in ordering some. The fleet diversity'll be good for NYC; and upstate New York (Nova Bus is building a plant in upstate Plattsburgh) could use the jobs.
