Ouch R42 Makes wave of the (F)OX (5) lol, nice

but when taking underground shots, its best NOT to grab moving trains, as they wont show right, unless u got a good cam. This goes for night shots too

(A) to King Highway xD lol, that means its going via the (F) lol

Those R44 cab doors make me laugh. I don't know how some people fit into them.

It must be like that seeing that the (NYCT) wasnt so smart during the 60s lol, they just grab the doors from the R42 and older and there u go. Now the R46 we are talking xD.

lol! Makes me wonder too, and the R62/A seats! Funny when someone takes up 2-3 seats at a time!

Emmanuel - Brilliant shots! For me, those R42s just don't seem to work on the (F). Just my opinion.

one of the many ugly features of those giant soda cans. riding one really makes me wanna cry.

How many "ugly features" or "eyesores" can you list from the subway? Everything can't be perfectly the way you want it. Besides, the R44s have a lot of pros to them. They're fast cars and have proven themselves very reliable after a not-so-great start. They're comfortable and functional subway cars. What more could you ask for? Sure, there are some shortcomings, like the tiny cab doors, the carbon steel instead of stainless steel, and the constant air release, but still. The R44's pros outweigh the cons.

Have you ever taken a ride through the Rockaways?

yes, and it sucked. the R32/38s made the Jamaica Bay crossing fun.

I really see no reason why you hate those cars in general. What is so bad about them that makes you hate them?

i really do not want to repeat myself or be mean again.

It's really strange how you like the R68As when they are in fact the slowest. Nevertheless, their stainless steel interiors are filled with scratchitti. It seems like you really favor cars with poor suspension, but somehow the R42s just don't fit that picture.
